Good facilities but extremely busy in the evening. I literally can’t find any machine to train on. There’s only 1 of each machine type, that’s bad for any gym, let alone a gym that is costing 80€ a month. I don’t recommend, stay away

Always crowded. Most of the staff there are nice but I've faced some who were rude without any reason. Ok my first visit I didn't know how to use my card to enter and she shouted at me in the time that I was looking for the card reader to place the card, instead of coming forward to help me she was yelling at me with the word "NO". It made me more nervous. Also I faced some other non friendly behaviors other times. In general I don't recommend to go there often

An diesem Ort trainiere ich seit 22 Jahren. Die letzten Jahre unter der Ägide von Holmes Place. Es waren keine einfachen Jahre, aber durch Einfallsreichtum und Flexibilität würde die Qualität der Aquakurse, die mich besonders interessieren, gut gehalten. Auf dringenden Wunsch der Kursteilnehmerinnen werden jetzt auch vermehrt wieder Abendkurse angeboten und erfreulicherweise würde das SPA modernisiert. Das Servicepersonal vor Ort ist sehr freundlich und zugewandt.

I have been a member at Holmes Place Ostkreuz for a while now, and I am increasingly disappointed with the experience. Upon entering the studio, it would be nice to be greeted with a friendly “Hello,” yet the reception staff often seem unmotivated and don’t greet members at all. This lack of warmth is surprising, especially for a studio in this price range, where one would expect more welcoming customer service. The studio's approach to sustainability is also difficult to understand. For example, one of the showers runs constantly, which doesn’t align with sustainability practices at all. Meanwhile, the towel service has been discontinued, supposedly to promote environmental responsibility. This contrast between actions feels inconsistent and even hypocritical. In terms of maintenance, the men’s locker room is in visibly poor condition, with parts of the ceiling showing what appears to be mold. This creates an atmosphere of neglect, and it seems that cleanliness is not being prioritized here. Unfortunately, the issue of cleanliness extends throughout the studio. Many areas are marked by spider webs, which only adds to the impression that adequate cleaning is not being done. Hygiene should be a top priority in any fitness center, but especially in one that charges high membership fees. To make matters worse, equipment is often left broken for extended periods, which is disappointing given the membership costs. Members should be able to expect prompt repairs on machines, especially when these are essential for training. Overall, the studio feels outdated and lacks the modern, clean atmosphere one might find in other branches of this chain. I hope this review is taken as constructive feedback, as I believe raising the standards at this location would greatly improve the experience for all members.
