Dear Calumet management team, Today I had the worst customer experience in Germany and it was in Calumet Düsseldorf. I ordered second-hand camera (price was 1+K euro) two weeks ago and it should be delivered in 3-4 working days. After a week no one could help me to find my order as it was made via phone and I didn’t get the confirmation. „Next time do it online“, was the advice from Calumet employees. Ok, things happen, mistakes take places in business. I decided to give one more try. On 10.09 I ordered one more camera (I was waiting and searching for A condition, which is not always the case on second hand market), but I ordered one online. 12.09 in the morning I called the shop to ask if the camera had arrived already and they said „yes“. I came to the shop very excited to get my camera. It occurred that the box was empty (found it out in front of me), so the box arrived, but with no camera inside. Three employees were joking and having fun about the disappearing camera. I was not in a mood to have fun as I need the camera asap for my work and already spent a lot of time to get the camera from Calumet. I asked to fix the problem and try to find the camera and or a solution for me. Suddenly most of the employees who made funny jokes have disappeared:) I needed to ask for help. One employee with no enthusiasm and after two remainders that I am still here said that his is calling the colleagues in Köln but no answer and in general it’s not their problem, as they just getting the packages. Köln shop has answered to my call immediately, as I did not believe the employee, he was not engaged at all and said he doesn’t like pressure. My suggestion were: - Calumet should check the inside of the package before customer is here; - Be more supportive and collaborative in the problems of the customers caused by Calumet; - I also asked to send the camera from Köln with express delivery as I had no time to drive there myself and needed the camera asap. The shop manager was not ok with any of the suggestions, saying that the problem is on the side of Köln‘s Calumet. I asked to try out the express delivery options though. The last drop was that the employee took my mobile phone (during my call to Calumet Köln) and went to the private room to „discuss“ the situation without any permission from my side to get away with my phone. I would at least expect polite conversation and efforts to solve the problem, offer a discount, try to find a way to deliver the camera and calm down the customer, who faced awful service and incompetence (checking the inside of the package) and making jokes. None of this were done, absolutely indifferent employees with no desire to support customers.
