The area is loud at night, especially the tram & the sirens from emergency services that pass through. The hotel itself is quiet. Es war unfassbar heiß im Zimmer, lüften konnten wir nicht da wir die tramhaltestelle direkt vor dem Fenster hatten. Unser ursprüngliches Zimmer hatte ein Bett in das man nur von vorne reinkrabbeln konnte, völlig unzumutbar. Das Ersatz Zimmer war ein downgrade, mit einem einzelbett, wir waren als Paar dort. The pros of this place: easy check in check out, location in proximity of good restaurants cafes and Denns Biomarkt across the street. Also very nice co working space. Rooms were clean, bathroom was spacious.

An absolutely fantastic place to stay. Surrounded by great restaurants, cafes and bars (especially if you're vegetarian or vegan) and only a short walk to Ostkreuz station. Das Zimmer "Bigger" war sehr groß.
Das Licht war nicht ausreichend. Insgesamt war es zu dunkel.
Die Küche war ebenfalls sehr groß und gut eingerichtet.
Die Stühle im Zimmer waren alt und schmuddelig.
Ein Handtuch mehr hätte ich gebraucht (aktuell ein Dusch- und ein Handtuch).
Die nächstgelegenen Bahnhöfe sind 1 km entfernt.

I've been to Berlin a good few times and I've stayed various neighbourhoods across the city. Friedrichshain is great area to stay. STAYERY in particular is really close to Ostkreuz station - which is a very well connected station, especially if you are coming from Brandenburg Airport via train.
