During our stay in Germany, we needed to replace a car battery. We were satisfied with both the price and the quality of the work. Since we were pressed for time, they even completed the replacement faster than they initially estimated. The only area that could be improved is the English communication of the staff at the reception. The gentleman at the front desk made an effort, which we certainly appreciate, but unfortunately the young lady at reception was completely unable to communicate in English. When she answered the phone and heard English, she simply hung up. I understand that in Germany the primary language is German, but from a company like BMW I would still expect staff to be trained enough in such a widely spoken language as English to handle at least basic communication with customers. On the positive side, the technician spoke fluent English and even sent us a voice message via the BMW app to let us know the car was ready. Overall – aside from the comment regarding English skills at the reception – it was a professional and satisfactory service.
