Cambridge Academic Exam Review
I had a very unsatisfactory experience with the level of service provided by this institute during my Cambridge Academic Exam. My examination was in the tiny room, about 20 sq m, with circa 15 people in it. It was no air, also I was heavily disrupted by the noise and vibration of the constantly opening and closing the door. I did CPE preparation class. First had to wait fo quite a while to get feedback on my admission test. Otherwise the personnel was nice, the facilities are nice too, however... the course was awful to my mind. It hardly served the purpose, the teaching wasn’t good quality, the teacher didn’t show proper preparation and dedication, running around during lesson time to do the copies, or checking our writings during the lesson, sometimes not being ab…

We are sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your experience in our exam preparation course. We also want to apologise for the error regarding the review, which originated from a previous team, and we are unable to trace its source.
Positive feedback has been given by other participants from the very same course. You may recall Martin, who successfully completed the six-week course, and consequently passed the exams with flying colours. His satisfaction was such that he encouraged his wife to do the same course with the same instructor, resulting in the same successful outcome for her. Both now reside in Australia. Martin recently shared that they view the preparation course as a significant milestone in their language education. His wife now teaches German and prepares students for exams at the Goethe-Institut.
With regard to the apparent confusion, the teacher employs a Test-Teach-Test approach, a more recent pedagogical method, which throws participants in at the deep end, so to speak, and is particularly effective for an intensive course. In short, it is learning by doing, which is more beneficial for those willing to see out the course.
The two weeks you attended could never have afforded you the benefits of this approach, nor could they provide you with a comprehensive basis for a full review. The teacher in question has been with us for many years, has successfully conducted numerous exam preparation courses, is highly qualified, and runs a very popular proficiency class on Wednesdays, complete with a waiting list. Moreover, he is also a Cambridge Team Leader, responsible for training and certifying Speaking Examiners for the Cambridge Exams.
We hope this information provides some context and reassures you of the quality and dedication of our teaching staff.

I did my IELTS test in the Institute and it played out without any problems. Don't worry about only being allowed to bring transparent water bottles, in case you don't have one of those they have a water dispenser and clear cups you can use. They are also well equipped with a bathroom and a few chairs in their lobby if you have to wait for your turn. The staff is helpful and friendly and they'll tell you all you need to know.

Ich habe einen Business-Englischkurs am Cambridge-Institut gebucht und bin total zufrieden. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und es erfolgte vorab eine gute Beratung, welche Kursstufe passend ist. Auf Rückfragen wird schnell reagiert.
Der Dozent des Kurses ist sehr engagiert und gestaltet seine Unterrichtsstunden abwechslungsreich und lustig, sodass sogar so etwas furchtbares wie Grammatik halb so wild ist ;-)
High quality English classes - both face-to-face and online with highly qualified teachers. For me personally the best place to go as to improve your English languages skills.
