Make sure to call ahead of you want to order a pork knuckle. The beers cold and the food is hot! Well, the tar tar isn’t hot but it was delicious. It’s a bit of a touristy place but when in Rome.

Considering that this is a traditional German restaurant it is bright and airy. The food is well prepared. My lentil soup was delicious and I haven’t had pork crackling like that for years. I thought the wines were really expensive.

Wir hatten heute einen sehr schönen Abend hier! Das Essen war super gut und die Portionen perfekt von der Größe her. Besonders toll fanden wir den professionellen und super freundlichen Service. Haben wir schon lange nicht mehr so gut erlebt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

I wish I could give this place more stars as everything combined together makes this my favorite place to eat so far in Wiesbaden. I only wish I could do enough exercise to justify eating here every night. My personal favorite is the Chicken Schnitzel, but Cabbage special from a few weeks ago was very good! What makes this place extra special is the staff! I want to give a special shoutout to Petra! Such a lovely person and just so welcoming…
