JEREMY MINSBERG was our guide for 2 amazing days in Berlin. His unbelievable knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for the city is quite apparent. We learned so much from him as he explained the history and horrors of the past as well as Berlin today - supported by a wonderful collection of photos. He is easy going and felt like a close friend. If you're looking for a guide, look no further - he really is the Berlin Expert.
You should plan a trip to Berlin just to hire Jeremy. He is that good. Try to reserve his services as much in advance as possible as he does get booked up. We hired him our first day in Berlin which was helpful as he gave us so much information about the things we planned on doing the rest of our trip.
Jeremy deserves his excellent reputation as “The Berlin Expert“. My wife and I had traveled and stayed in Berlin before but we never saw it as well as when we were with Jeremy. He has a fund. Of important and interesting information regarding the holocaust, World War II and events leading up to it and results post World War II, including the division of Berlin and Germany as a whole. Jeremy was simply outstanding. We spent our first afternoon in Berlin with Jeremy and had a five star introduction to the city. Jeremy provided excellent support prior to our arrival to tailor our tour for our interests. He also provided excellent material that helped us prepare for our own exploration of Berlin. Jeremy's knowledge, insights and enthusiasm gave us a solid and most enjoyment foundation for our visit. I can't imagine anyone better.
Having just returned from Berlin...we hired a person who truly lives up to the name of his company. Jeremy is not only a GREAT person but a wealth of knowledge on the history of the country. Take his tour..he is superb. Both my cousin and her husband and my wife and I really enjoyed Jeremy's personable nature and his kind spirit. Also Rick Steves got it right that Jeremy knows his stuff. Jeremy is a veritable font of information and enthusiasm about his adopted city, Berlin. A native American, he has lived in Berlin for more than 20 years, and likely knows the city far better than most native Berliners. If you use a tour guide in Berlin, Jeremy is the one! So knowledgeable about the city, it’s history and it’s people. Easy going and willing to zero in on anywhere your interests take you at your pace. There is no downside. We had 2 half day tours and loved every minute. Worth every penny too! If you don’t do it, you’ll miss out!
Jeremy truly is Mr. BERLIN. He had what seemed to me a deep and thorough knowledge of all things Berlin, and communicated it all with verve and aplomb! Highly recommend.
Jeremy was the consummate tour guide. His knowledge and engaging personality and humor made for a great experience. He also knows where to find a delish apple strudel. We came away with a better understanding of the history of Germany, both the horrific side and the efforts made to come to grips with its past. We would highly recommend using Jeremy when touring Berlin.
We spent 2 days with Jeremy seeing the sites, monuments and memorials in Berlin. By themselves they are just bricks and mortar, but Jeremy made the history come to life for us. We had a great experience with him as our guide. Peter & Stella Ekstein Toronto

Absolutely phenomenal tour guide! He gave really wonderful information without harping too much on tedious specifics like dates, but if you ever wanted to know more, he had an answer. Jeremy was also able to offer very unique and personal perspectives that brought a lot more personality to the experience.

Don't visit Berlin without The Berlin Expert as your guide. Jeremy exceeded our expectations for a private tour. I highly recommend taking a walking tour of Berlin with Jeremy! He was easy to work with and communicated with us frequently prior to our tour. On the day of the tour, we met in the lobby of our hotel to review our expectations. Once the tour started, he told stories and shared insights that we would have never learned on our own.
