Had Okra Soup with Beef and Pounded Yam, ordered extra Plaintain and everything was amazing. Didn't wait too long and food was still really hot when I arrived home. Service was okay, could've been a bit nicer but I personally didn't mind. Overall a great place and will def order again!!
The food was a bit on the pricy side, but it is a lot and could be for 2 people if you are a light eater. The food is very well flavored and seasoned. We ordered goat stew, fried goat meat, and fish pepper soup. It took a while to come, but just like all good things take a while to prepare. All in all we enjoyed our service and food
The food was okay but the service was terrible. We felt so unwelcome from the moment we arrived. The waiter was so cold and didn’t even greet us when we arrived and when we left. We ordered for Pounded Yam, but we were served Semovita (which the waiter claimed was poundo yam). Waiter seemed to be having a very loud argument with a kitchen staff. Would definitely not recommend this place as there are much better African restaurants in Berlin
Becareful who you put as the face of your business. I know when this place was opened. They had a fantastic atmosphere. Unfortunately that's not the case from my last recent visit. Service was very rude and even started a quarrel with us. The tables were not clean and they seemed very unprepared to open at 3pm. This negative review to not to put my sisters business down but to advise her to take her business seriously and becareful about the peop…
The food is not bad. However, we were the only ones in the restaurant and it took about 50mns to get our food. The pounded yam was given to me in a plastic bag, on a plate. Also I wasnt given a bowl of water for my hands, had to eat the soup with a fork. I can recommand if you take away or order, since apparently they are priorizing the orders over the clients that are in the restaurant.
The fried fish brought to me had turned cold. To make the cold fish less obvious, there was warm sauce on top. The Achu soup had very strange meats on it. The fish was overcooked and had turned rubbery. The waiters didn't speak German or English either. So I couldn't even convey how bad my experience is. This whole suffering costed me and my gf about 36.5 eur. Which is quite expensive compared to the portion sizes. If I could rate it any lower I …
Also lieber woanders afrikanisch Essen gehen.
