Informationsbesuch zwecks Autokauf Nach etwas längerer Wartezeit kam eine sehr nette, zuvorkommende, fachlich gut informierte Mitarbeiterin die uns ausführlich beraten hat

I have exclusively owned nothing but VW and Audi automobiles for nearly two decades. I have experienced many different dealers and workshops over the years and I would say this is the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I’ve ever had. I have had my Audi serviced, inspected, and had recall work done at the sister dealership next door with good results…but this place….I will NEVER come back to. I showed up for a scheduled appointment, there was only one person working the customer service desk. Because of this, I waited 50 minutes to drop off a car for a scheduled appointment while my colleague also waited in the parking lot. My car was making a strange noise, so I took it in. They diagnosed it as an issue with the water pump. They replaced the water pump and timing belt. I paid an absurd amount of money to have this work completed. Upon pick up it, again, took nearly an hour for me to pay as they had a new payment system and the young lady did not know how to is it with a VAT Form. I drove my car home that day. It sat parked for 4 days as I rode my bicycle to and from work. I drove to the airport then to Mainz. In Mainz, I got warning for low coolant level. Thinking it might be because the water pump was replaced and the coolant system had been worked on, maybe it was just an air bubble in the system that worked out. I verified there was still coolant in the reservoir and drove back to Wiesbaden. I noticed a small drip under my car the next morning (Sunday). On Monday, I drove the car back to the VW dealer and told them my car was leaking coolant. The young man at the desk was understanding of my frustration and told me they would look at my car when they had the chance. A few days later they called to tell me the radiator was leaking. Maybe this is a coincidence, but it seems rather strange. There was NO leak previous to them working on the cooling system, yet less than 100km after leaving the dealer, there is now a radiator leak. This just seems suspicious. To top it off, they quoted me 1000€ for the radiator. 1400€ total for repair. This is absolutely insane for a VW Golf Tdi. I told them I would pick my car up and take it elsewhere. I have an estimate to have the repair done at an independent mechanic next week for 525€. Nearly 1/3rd the cost. To top off this experience, when I went to pick up my car, there was a customer’s van blocking the end of the parking lot. The customer had picked up the keys the day before but left the van blocking 6 vehicles (including mine) in the parking lot. Again, the young man at the desk was apologetic but he had to call the customer to come move the van. I spent another 45 minutes waiting to be able to leave. Not only do I feel like I was charged way more than I should have been for the timing belt and water pump, drastically over quoted for a radiator (I’m still convinced might have been damaged by the workshop), but I also spent nearly 3 hours of my personal time waiting in their lobby.
