This review is mine from ten months ago and I'm revising it to 1 star because of two very unpleasant events that happened. The first inexcusable thing, about six months ago, the store's service staff pranked each other by sprinkling a handful of salt on the hot slab, and at that time, like a firework, the exploding salt popped into my eyes, burning blisters on the inside of my eyelids and my face. The second incident happened today, I ordered a "Tomahawk Steak", the iron plate was too hot and burnt the meat, it was black and had a bitter taste. I asked the waiter to replace it, and the waiter was very rude and asked me to pay the bill, and then told me not to come back. This restaurant is right below my apartment, so I dine here weekly and tip no less than 10 euros each time. If they don't address this problematic staff, I'm sure this restaurant will close soon.

Their online booking system is not aligned with their booking. You can book online and still not have a table in the place. Best option is to call them by phone. And apparently they don't speak Spanish (I could not know if in the kitchen they have any Spanish person). As requested by Google, this negative review is really old and there is a possibility it is no longer valid. However that was my experience at the time and I have been asked to remove it. I guess that's why it has so many good reviews only. In any case I have not come back to it since such experience was Terrible. My review does not analyse food quality nor atmosphere neither service since I could not eat there due of the situation indicated above.

Absolutes Kleinod in Frankfurt Beste Tapas seit langem im Rhein Main Gebiet. Schnörkellose Bodega, keine Effekthascherei. Alleine das Brot war schon besser als was einige In Läden später als Tapas servieren. Wirklich alles was auf den Tisch kam war extrem lecker und auf den Punkt. Corizo in Brandy waren ein Highlight, die Tortilla Espanola ein Gedicht. Am Ende hat auch die Rechnung sehr angenehm überrascht, mehr als fairer Preis für den Genuss, hier Tapas naschen zu dürfen. Wir kommen gerne wieder aus dem Odenwald in die Bodega el Amigo, es gibt so viele Köstlichkeiten von der Karte, die probiert werden wollen!

Wow wie unhöflich. Auf die Frage ob wir für heute noch reservieren können hat man kurz mit Nö geantwortet und wieder aufgelegt. Dann eben nicht! Sicher versuchen wir es kein 2. mal. Schade ☹️

Wir haben gerillte Kalamaren mit Gemüse bestellt, aber fritierte Kalamaren bekommen. Und Gemüse war überhaupt nicht frisch. Nie wieder!
