I've been asked to amend this review as apparently it constituted defamation, even though the below is completely true and I have emails to back up everything. Please Google do not remove this without even asking to review the proof. I will repost again and again. I think this is a very unethical and possibly unlawful company. I paid 2000 euros for a German course that, due to a loss in the family, I was unable to attend. I let them know weeks in advance that I wished to cancel. However, they threatened legal action if I did not pay the full price for the course, and with everything that was going on in my life, I paid the fees so that I did not have to also worry about court action. A little later I checked their refund policy, and it clearly states that the amount of notice I gave would now be considered enough to be entitled to a full refund. However, when I pointed this out to them, they still refused to refund my money, and offered only to book me new dates for the same course. I no longer needed to attend the course, but I asked if it was possible to transfer the funds to book a different course that would have been useful for one of my friends. They said no. Finally I said please just let somebody else who has applied for my course and would actually benefit from it be given the course for free, since I had already paid the fees and could not attend. They said no. I don't see any way that they can justify this behaviour, and would like an explanation as to why they consider it defamation given that this all happened exactly as described. It seems that rather than resolving my issue or denying it, they just want how they behaved to be hidden from potential future customers, which is alarming in itself.I've been asked to amend this review as apparently it constituted defamation, even though the below is completely true and I have emails to back up everything.
