I can highly recommend both Dr. Bachhuber and Dr. Reising. Both of whom are brilliant, sympathetic, experienced and modern doctors. Who treat your child with respect. (Speaking directly to the child for example as opposed to about them as if they're not present). My only issues is to do with the other doctor at the praxis, Dr. Wolf. Its been my own experience and that of friends of mine that has me a bit frustrated. To tell mothers that they shouldn't be nursing their babies to sleep or shouldn't be nursing baby at night time is utter nonsense and harmful. This kind of old fashioned view is outdated and has no place in a modern pediatricians practice. The World Health Organisation recommends frequent, on-demand breastfeeding atleast until the age of 2 and then beyond. I shudder when I think of how many mothers have been told otherwise by this doctor and other doctors. Or how many mothers have been told that "babies need to learn how to fall asleep by themselves" (no, they don't and aren't supposed to) or who've felt that they've had to leave their babies to cry because someone told them that responding to their babies and feeding them on demand, as mothers have done for thousands of years, is somehow wrong and creates "bad habits" or because "babies need to learn how to self-soothe" (they don't and cannot). It is so disappointing that this toxic, non-scientific advice is being given to mothers in such an otherwise brilliant and modern praxis. No you do not need to wean your baby or even your toddler at night unless you feel you are ready to do so. Your baby needing help to fall asleep near you or on the breast is normal and healthy unless you're ready to change to suit your situation or for mental or other health reasons. I don't like leaving such a long-winded negative review, especially in English (my German is not good enough) because I am otherwise incredibly happy with Dr. Bachhuber and Dr. Reising and the other staff.

Kvb Praxis Kinderklinik😡😤 /Intensivstation Höchst unzufrieden/3 Wochen altes Baby [frühchen] nach Beschreibung der Symptomatik erstmal nach der verasicherung gefragt , ansonsten müssten wir privat zahlen, ich zitiere:" denn er muss schließlich gleich sein Geld bekommen !!" Bezahlung wichtiger als Das kleine Leben im Maxicosi !!! 2 Std danach , lag der kleine auf der Intensivstation!! 😡😤 Danke dafür !!!

Keine Ahnung wofür hier Termine vereinbart werden. Für eine U-Untersuchung musste ich die Tage mit meinen zwei Kids 2 Stunden warten. Das was die Mädels abarbeiten ging recht schnell aber bis die Ärztin dann mal nach uns geschaut hat waren 2 Stunden um. Dann sollte ich meinem 3 jährigen noch beim ausziehen helfen weil es der Frau Dr. nicht schnell genug ging, hing wohl daran dass sie in die Mittagspause wollte. Auch stimmt der Inhalt der U-Untersuchung nicht wirklich mit dem überein was laut U-Heft gemacht werden sollte. Empfehlen kann ich diese Praxis leider nicht.
