The lack of organization affected the learning process to the point most of my classmates decided to drop out of class. The school changed the professor 3 times, and one of the teachers was not a German native speaker (!?!?!?!). Also, they changed the date of the exam several times without consultation. This experience was frustrating.

I was not able to take classes here, which is really unfortunate because the reviews I have read are stellar. But I contacted them during my school search, and they were incredibly helpful and kind. Judging by how they communicate, I can tell what type of school they run. If my schedule fits with one of their courses in the future, this is the place I will choose!

I have started my german studies (from A2.2) from Kapitel Zwei and needless to say, I am extremely satisfied by the courses offered. This is, if not the best, one of the best Deutsch-Sprachshule in Berlin. The faculty and support staff are top-notch and leave you without any disappointments. I highly recommend this Sprachschule for working professionals and new students.

Vorsicht: sie suchen alle möglichen Ausreden aus, die TELC-Prüfung kostenpflichtig mehrfach wiederholen zu lassen,so dass sie mehr Geld verdienen. Also sei vorsichtig oder am besten andere Schule auswählen P.s. die unten stehende standardisierte Antwort bezeichnet den Geschäftsmodell der Schule, der sich hinten AGB versteckt. Inhaltlich ist die Antwort jedoch nicht nachvollziehbar, da ich vom früh morgens anwesend war. das Problem liegt darin, dass sie auf einer Zettel 2 unterschiedluchen Uhrzeiten und 3 unterschiedlichen Warteorten für den zweiten Teil bekannt gegeben haben. Dies bringt zum Irrtum. Wenn man den Termin auch nur für wenigen Sekunden verpasst, fällt der Termin aus. Unnötig war der Versuch, den Missverständnis mit der Mitarbeiterin zu klären. Dies rklärt sich mit der Tatsache, dass die Wiederholung 179€, also 90% des gesamten Preises, kostet. Es ist also ihr Interesse, den Termin ausfallen zu lassen. Dies scheint offensichtlich der Geschäftsmodell dieser mittelständigen Schule zu sein, um Mehrgeld verdienen zu können.

I strongly recommend the online courses at DeutschAkademie. The teacher in my group - Marco Zeh is very experienced. He maintains a good balance in the group, taking the time and attention for every question without holding back on any of the material that needs to be done in the day. The way of teaching is very well organised, effective, clear and friendly at the same time. I also noticed how well the organisation chose the materials for the course. The staff is always very quick and helpful with responding to any question regarding materials, organisation of next courses or additional language exersizes for everyone.

Unfortunately, I have to put only one star because the course was cancelled for the second time on a very short notice of only 4 days. If it had happened only once, (although this is serious) I would not have written any review because these things can happen but on the second time I am forced to review this school negatively because it indicates a lack of organizational professionalism. A cancellation on such short notice does not make it easy to find other courses even at other schools and has wasted a lot of my time that I could have spent at another institution. The first time the course had been canceled was in November, the second time in March for reasons I consider trivial (the teacher fell ill or decided to stop teaching). The courses proposed by the school to make up for this lack made no sense because they proposed courses in time slots that were impractical for me (8:30-11:30 a.m.) since I am a worker and had specially booked semi-intensive evening courses.

I have a very bad experience with this school. They don't give such importance for complaints, neither take a decision fast. While the integration course is very intensive (25 hrs/week) , and a module is about 4 weeks.. Many complaints were submitted about the course since around 3 weeks and no action is taking so far, and the next module has already started and nothing yet.. I really like this school, but I regret that I didn't stop at the end of the previous module. Awaiting their action to decide on changing the school, noting that these complaints were submitted by more than half of the class
