The loveliest book shop, great warm atmosphere, engaged and friendly bookstore workers organizing different events/donations, offering their space for hosting book clubs. Very LGBTQI+ supportive 🏳️‍🌈

It's open again! And with late night Friday potluck social evenings and a rotating bunch of volunteers running the store, hopefully the community continues to keep this Berlin institution open 💜

A cosy, quirky and a bit messy bookshop where you can help yourself to a coffee or a beer, take a pile of books, sink into a chair and chill

The story of the owner and her wish to keep the books but still let curious readers enjoy them, and how that shaped how the store functions is amazing. Really nice people continuing the legacy. Will visit again on future Berlin-trips

love it here!! do not fear—it’s not super orderly but it’s definitely not dirty. kind people, great books, could spend hours reading and sifting, go visit!

Quirky shop with a very relaxed atmosphere, comfy chairs to read in and a surprisingly large basement for sci-fi/fantasy. Books can be bought or lended for a smaller price. Also hosts community events on a regular basis.

Such an interesting second-hand bookshop/library. It’s probably not everyones cup of tea, since it’s quite dark and messy, and not all books are for sale unfortunately. But it’s definitely interesting, has a very eclectic selection and well worth a trip if you love book hunting. I take nearly all my guests here. It feels like a part of the ‘old kreuzberg’. And I have always found a book there that I loved.

This is a special bookshop and you might love or hate it. It's quite messy. In some places there is an order in the books, in others they are piled in towers waiting to fall. If you have got time and enjoy searching it's a great place to be!

maybe the bookshop is nice but it was closed even though it closes at 6pm and it was 5pm... i came to berlin from lithuania for 2 days and it doesn’t work on sundays.. pretty disappointing
