We went for the all you can eat dinner buffet that code EUR 18.90 each. You have to get up to fill your own plates but naan (included in the buffet) is served fresh and warm at your table. Having spent a couple of weeks in India (and Sri Lanka) I can tell how authentic this food here tastes! Pretty spicy - they don’t skimp on these Indian spices we love so much so you get to experience the full taste your looking for here. Most of the waiters d…
I ordered fish curry. It was not fresh and very sweet and my friend ordered chole bhaturey. That was also tasteless. And bhaturey were like completely pressed in the form of thick big puri. Their dosa is good but can't trust with other things
Took me back to India with the ambience and the food. Quantity was good, but couldn't imagine spending so much on Biriyani. But then, it's another country. Massive respect to the ones who brought it here. Services here weren't that great. I felt like a few of the staff members weren't all that pleased to see us Indians, although I had expected the contrary. But it's all in for the food, yes? Great job overall. 👏
Got food poisoning after having mid day buffet probably because they use leftovers that have already gone bad
Good food, Nice ambience and caring staff. The service is good and attentive which I liked. The food is typical Chettinad style. This was my first experience out of India and it matches almost with what they do serve back in India. We did order Chettinad Chicken thali and Kotthu parotta. The parotta although became soggy after some time, but the taste was good. Everything from Thali was absolutely delicious. Not sure about dosa and idli but for C…
The buffet was good during the weekend. Disclaimer: The taste is not comparable or similar with the Anjappar in India.
It was my first visit and I expected an ambience of Chennai Anjappar with a mild instrumental music of Ilayaraja or ARR but it was dominant with ambience of north Indian restaurant. With respect to food, buffet was dominant with north indian dishes along with south indian dishes such as Seeraga samba mutton briyani, veg briyani, white rice, sambar and methu vada. Mutton briyani had a authentic flavour of south Tamilnadu. Kola vurundai and Chic…
Good restaurant. Delicious South Indian food. Highly recommended if you are looking for a South Indian Non-veg restaurant. Location is also good 5 to 6 min walk, directly in front of Frankfurt HBF. Only problem is Quantity of food is not upto the price.
Good indian food in this vicinity but some items can feel a little overpriced. Service can be a bit unprofessional and disrespectful sometimes. Even though I had some good experiences I had a few bad experiences as well.
We went for lunch and opted for vegetarian foods. We ordered paneer masala, naan, garlic naan, Masala dosa and wada. Don't order mango lassi as it doesn't feel like the original mango lassi. Food was good but the only thing we will say is that service is a little bit slow.
Food taste is not as expected and it's costlier. Buffet menu, dishes are cold. Totally disappointed.
Lunch buffet is just 10,90€ - amazing value for what it offers (2 different chicken options, salads, rice/naan etc).
