Ein toller Überblick über eine spannende Epoche. Ich persönlich hatte mehr Großexponate, wie z.B. mehr Fahrzeuge erhofft.aber vielleicht erscheinen die ja am neuen Ort.

Excellent museum . No charge for admission and no charge to use the toilets(!!). Helpful staff.
Entrada gratuita. Muy interesante ver el museo desde el punto de vista de los Aliados, se explica muy bien el Puente Aereo y como se vivió la post guerra en Alemania. Tiene audioguia por el celular. La única crítica es que, si bien tienen numeraciones las distintas vitrinas, no estaba claro por dónde iniciar la visita y como seguirla de forma ordenada. The only place where you will find (a part of) the real and original Checkpoint Charlie post. The entrance is free (!) and you will find a lot of history organized across two buildings. In the center of the place there is a plane which you can enter.
Dieses Museum ist zwar nicht groß aber dafür sehr interessant und informativ. Es zeigt das Leben während des Kalten Krieges und wie die Alliierten mitwirkten. Für mich persönlich war der Besuch etwas seltsam da ich in den 80er öfter hier im Outpost ins Kino gegangen bin. Sehr merkwürdig das Kino jetzt als Museum. Auf jeden Fall kann ich es nur empfehlen schon weil es kostenlos ist. 👍👍👍
It's a shame more people don't visit this musuem as there are a lot of interesting things to see... Like the original and real checkpoint Charlie.. one of the aircraft used in the Berlin airlift... an East German watchtower... a French troop train and am allied secret tunnel used to spy on East Germany. Entrance is free and you can take a bus right to the doorstep!
Ich habe diesen Ort voller Zuversicht und Interesse aufgesucht, wurde aber enttäuscht. In meinen Augen eine lieblos zusammengestellte Lose-Blatt-Sammlung von Erinnerungsfetzen. Kleinteilig , langweilig und ohne Schauwert. Gut, wir Deutschen können halt selten Museum, es gibt zu viele schlechte Beispiele. Dann schaut doch mal nach GB oder den USA. Aber zurück zum hier.
