Lovely place. Very good all vegan food, especially the Lachs/carrot bread (enough for two people). surprisingly affordable.
10/10… Everything was a flavor bomb. Top spot for me in Berlin (saying a lot) and up there with some of my favorite restaurants in NYC.
Compliments to the chef 👌🏼The food was really delicious, but the service could be much better. We really wanted to try the dessert, but we had to ask twice to order and no one ever came. We ended up waiting an hour before giving up and just paying and leaving. The owner of the place, she does not know how to keep customers rather she thinks they are liars and trying to save money in bringing a prosecco on a 40th birthday. The place was practically empty, if it wasn't us/me with my table of 9 people not even that money would have collected, however, better to lose customers than to admit you made a mistake and know how to fix the mistake. Food and atmosphere is amazing! We had to wait 30 min for our table even tho we booked one in advance. This shouldn’t happen. The place was very busy, so until we ordered another 20 minutes passed. Stuff was friendly anyways :) I hope this was an exception because I’m definitely coming back for some of those patatas bravas and the almond ricotta!
Waited 30 min to just get a menu and the opportunity to order drinks; the place was full but we had a reservation and waiting staff never even looked in our direction. Waiting at a dirty table for half an hour was not pleasant. 2/5 Food was good and normal priced, the ambience is pretty cozy. 4/5
I’m Spanish and it’s my favourite Spanish place in the city, also the most authentic! Their vegan foie gras was a total surprise. Their croquetas are sooooo good.
I literally wish i could every meal for the rest of my life at this restaurant. It is fabulously decorated, attracts a very interesting group of people, and has the best food ever. Alaska will always be one of my favorite places in the city.
